Nominations are open for the WP Awards 2024. The WP Awards allows people to vote for the best WordPress products and services in a number of categories. In order to be included for voting the product or service must be nominated.

The Meta Box team just released an extension for migrating Custom Post Types and custom fields from Pods to Meta Box. They now have migration helpers from Toolset, ACF, and Pods.

The Builderius team released an early version of their own CSS framework, which is built into the builder or can be used alone.

WordPress org has a “Learn” courses area that has a large number of learning tracks. This is a good resource to bookmark or remember for when people ask for good courses.

WordPress 6.6 is set to be released. In this video Adam Preiser looks at the new features and then shares his take on why a lot of the new features will not be used. This is sure to be controversial in some circles, but Adam joins the “lets get real” chorus.

The beta for Bricks 1.10 has been released. There are some nice UI and feature enhancements as well as lots of fixes.

The Plus team just released a free Figma UI Kit and Design System called Sprout. It has 1300+ Components and 250+ Pages. There are not many Figma design kits that focus on WordPress and so they wanted to make available layouts and designs that would assist in WordPress website creation.
