The WordPress, Drupal, Joomla!, and TYPO3 projects have jointly signed a letter to the legislators of the European Union raising concerns with the proposed Cyber Resilience Act. Some terms of the proposed Act are not well defined and some provisions may be too broad in their application, which might impact the contributions to open source software.
