This article is in line with what I wrote several months ago, that there is no reason for me to publish free content on the web for AI bots to monetize for big tech.

Project IDX is a new browser-based development environment for building web and multi-platform apps. It utilizes a cloud-based Linux VM, the Visual Studio Code IDE, and Google’s own Cody, an AI coding assistant. There is support for multiple frameworks and languages. There is currently a waitlist.

The Getwid Gutenberg block collection added a new AI writing block that is powered by OpenAI. The goal is to make it quicker to create content from within the Gutenberg editor.

Elegant Themes has finally launched Divi AI. The roadmap features include:

• Code Generation: Even without coding experience, you will be able to generate or modify code wherever Divi supports custom HTML, CSS, or JS.
• Full Layout Generation: What if you could re-generate an entire layout with Divi AI? We plan to make that happen.
• Image Editing: Soon, you’ll be able to edit images with AI directly inside the builder. Modify individual parts of the image, adjust the size, generatively fill empty spaces, and more!

Harvard has an AI chat bot that is different from tools like ChatGPT. It is trained to be a “good teacher” where it does not hand students all the answers but rather leads students towards the right answer so they discover the answer themselves, with help of AI.
