Bricks 1.8.5 was released. It includes new elements for reading progress bar, reading time, table of contents, image mask, and options for different images per breakpoint, along with other updates and fixes.

Bricks 1.8.4 has been released. One cool new features is the Bricks Elements Conditions API. You can use it to do display condition filtering sever-side so that elements are not included in the frontend output, which is good for membership and other sites where content needs to be restricted.

You can create animation interactions using all of the advanced builders. Udoro ‘Cracka’ Essien has a good video explaining what interactions are that can help you no matter what builder you use, and he also shows how to create interactions using Bricks. This is a great intermediate video that will help you to take your skills to the next level.

We had a long wait for the big Bricks 1.8 release, but now 1.8.1 has come rather quickly. It includes the auto-regeneration of CSS files after updates, Bricks integration with WP-CLI, a new Breadcrumbs element, and for developers, documentation and an example for adding your own dynamic data tags.

Congrats to Maxime Beguin on the success of Advanced Themer for Bricks. While it is not necessary to use any addons to make sites with Bricks, Advanced Themer hit a sweet spot in providing new features and tweaks inside the Bricks builder.
The plugin provides features such as the ability to create and manage CSS variables, a class importer, the ability to enable / disable options for clients, as well as shortcuts and additions to the Bricks editor. There are a number of utilities included, such as the ability to enable a light and dark theme for your site, a color palette generator, and the obligatory AI integration.
Advanced Themer launched in April and just reached version 1.1. While a lot of people have been using it on live sites, it is now officially out of beta.
