Automattic has changed the JetPack Stats feature from free to paid. It is always unhappy when a freemium product claws back features that were free to add them to the pro version. According to Davinder Singh Kainth’s newsletter, the WP Weekly, users are submitting 1 star reviews on WP org in protest.

etPack Creator Package Launched – This has tools for monetizing site content and newsletters. It seems like a good move for them. I expect to see sites taking this route to become more popular due to AI content scraping.

You can now send your blog content as a newsletter from your WordPress site using Jetpack subscriptions and the new newsletter feature. It is free, but if you charge your subscribers then you pay a percentage for the service.
