You may have heard someone say, “there is a plugin for that!” There are many WordPress plugins, if only we knew about them and which ones to use. In this video I look at one to copy posts and pages from site to site, one to allow for a draft post to be previewed by someone you select, and one to totally customize the WordPress admin.

Marko Krstic has released a free plugin on the WordPress plugin directory. It helps you find where blocks are used and also helps you find where synced patterns have been used. This is useful if you are changing out block collections, among other uses.

If a site has a plugin installed that was closed in the WP plugin directory there is no notice in the site admin, which could be a security issue. The WordPress org Experiments plugin adds the notice in the admin that users would see if they were on the dot org site.

This is a cool color palette generator that shows the color shades in an alert box where you can check the color contrast for accessibility.

Dennis Yo recently released SleekPixel. It is a plugin that provides an image editor within the admin for automatically creating Featured Images and Open Graph images. This video provides a walk-through and look at the features. I’m impressed with it.
