The new beta has a lot of new features, enhancements, and quality of life improvements. Some highlights are AI in the builder, a unified manager for templates and components, export and import of the full design system, customize and save builder layouts, better WooCommerce support and version 2 elements, custom CSS and style controls sync, palate colors synced to Gutenberg, and much more. Check in the change log to find videos for some of these features (like AI).

There is now an app for Apple TV and one for Android TV for watching WordPress TV on the big screen. WordPress TV is the collection of talks from WordCamps, as well as other presentations and tutorials. Here is the news on the Apple version. It is also available in the Google Play store for TV sets.

OtterBlocks got a big update. ThemeIsle added AI integration, a new design library, a new Content Slider block, updated the block conditions UI, added Turnstile spam protection to the form, now supports ACF repeater fields, and the latest version of the Block API.

Barn2 is trying an experiment, they set their Document Library Pro plugin on a WP multisite network and are offering the features of the plugin as an embedded solution.

It would be funny, if not sad, but this is the feedback that was given about the site editor way back when it had a “beta” label. In any event, I welcome the progress.

Bricks 2.3.9 is out. It is another bug fix and improvements release.

Rather than adding an AI assistant itself, Meta Box abilities are a collection of of tools that AI agents can use via the WordPress Abilities API.
