The Openverse project won an award recognizing it as an open education resource.

The ActivityPub v1 was released. It provides a link between platforms like Mastodon and your website, allowing people to follow authors, have new posts show in followers feeds, and have comments posted back on your posts.

In a cool partnership, the Greenshift team has an arrangement with Mauro Cassani of ACPT to include a one site license of ACPT in the Greenshift All in One unlimited packages. This is a great idea as people can now try out ACPT and use it with Greenshift.

Congrats to David Babinec and the Motion.page team. Motion.page is a visual UI for adding animations to your pages and it works with page builders. The plugin is now active on more than 15,000 websites and version 2.1 was just released. The new version supports animations based on mouse movement, MotionPath, and it now has a white label feature.

Pods 3.0 was just released. The main feature is conditional logic for fields.

Advanced Themer 2.0 Beta is available for testing. Here is a video that goes over the updates. There is a new color manager and a new class manager, among other features. Note that the video is long, but there are video jumps in the description.

A new program, WP Includes, was launched to help to improve the number of women in leadership positions in WordPress companies. The program matches women with mentors to help guide them in their career advancement.
