From the I’m sure it is controversial department – Elegant Themes tested a bunch of WordPress hosting providers and the top three fastest were SiteGround, Pressable, and Cloudways. In this post they test these three against each other and SiteGround comes out first. I would have thought that Kinsta or WP Engine would perform better, but it has been a while since I used SiteGround.

Gutenberg 15.8 (the plugin version) has some new features. They added the pages menu to the site editor, the revisions UI to the global styles interface, and Theme Previews for block themes. These features will be included in WordPress 6.3 in August.

The 6.2.2 minor release addresses 1 bug and 1 security issue related to Block themes parsing shortcodes in user-generated data. Because this is a security release, it is recommended that you update your sites immediately. All versions since WordPress 5.9 have also been updated.
