Breakdance 2.6 was released. New features and enhancements include button presets with version history, performance improvements, some integrations with other plugins, and more.

The Breakdance team released beta version 2.6. It includes a number of enhancements and fixes, such as an improved Code Editor, performance optimizations, increased support for some 3rd party plugins, and other quality of life improvements.

Breakdance 2.5 has entered beta. One of the new features is the ability to edit components from inside the editor, so that you don’t have to go out to a special page to edit them. There are lots of other features mentioned in the changelog.

Breakdance 2.3 has several new features, including the new revamped Quick Navigator, which allows you to create new pages, templates, and global blocks directly in the builder.

Breakdance 2.1 beta is now available for testing. It includes a large number of fixes and enhancements. Some of the enhancements include the ability for third party template designers to allow template import in one click, a rewritten Image Element that has leaner output on the fronted and more options in the backend, and a new display condition variable.

Breakdance is preparing version 2.0 with a lot of new features. In this video David McCan looks at two that he thinks will be popular: migration mode and the new layout builder. The new migration mode appears to be unique and innovative.

With the help of breakdance XSS any user can trick the admin user to execute PHP code without them knowing it. The code is written by the Editor (or any other user role) and later executed unknowingly by the administrator.
