The pro version of the popular Kirki theme framework was recently acquired by Themeum. They have released it now for free.

Recently it was announced that David Vongries was selling the Kirki Customizer Framework. Themeum has stepped up to purchase it. They are the company behind TutorLMS and Qubely.

Sarah Gooding at WPTavern reports that the Kirki plugin provided components for building out the WordPress Customizer. It appears to be a casualty of block-based themes.
