New Plugin for Finding Blocks and Synced Patterns

Marko Krstic has released a free plugin on the WordPress plugin directory. It helps you find where blocks are used and also helps you find where synced patterns have been used. This is useful if you are changing out block collections, among other uses.

The plugin version of Gutenberg, version 19.9 was released. By looking at the features released in the plugin we can see what will be included in the next WordPress release. Some of the new features include the Style Book is available for classic themes, you can now show the number of records returned when using the Query Loop block, and you can set the home page from within the Site Editor.

Bricks has released 1.12 beta. The long awaited Components feature is available for creating reusable elements, with an experimental status. You can use dynamic data in the Query Loop for include/exclude settings, there is optimized CSS loading, enhancements to the Query Filters, and more.
