Here are some design tips from the developer blog for creating patterns. The tips seem common-sense, but it is a good overview and checklist.

Pods 3.2 was released last week. New features include support for custom field revisions (when using meta storage) and some integration with the new Block Binding API.

Patchstack is changing their service to focus more on prevention. Beginning May 1st they plan to: 1) Discontinue the Incident Response service. 2) Change the settings controls so they will be read only on the site via the plugin, and you will change them on the central Patchstack dashboard. 3) Discontinue the Site Scanning feature that checks your sites and gave hardening suggestions.

Divi 5 Update: The team focused on speed improvements and Divi 5 uses less memory and is much faster.

Patchstack has released a new report on the state of WordPress security. There is a lot of interest and the report is a bit different that previous ones in that it talks about some of the exploits as examples in different categories.

The Core Framework provides a user interface for creating and managing your CSS framework. The free version of the Core Framework is now available in the WordPress plugin directory. Congrats to the Core Framework team.
