Who knew that you can compile WordPress core to run on .NET Core? Apparently you can even use Elementor and other plugins, though they have to be compiled. It is performant and more secure, but I can’t imagine anyone using this.

The results of the 2023 WordPress hosting performance benchmarks are available. The tests are run across 21 hosting providers and several pricing points from less than $25 to more than $500. There was testing for both WordPress and WooCommerce hosting.

Interesting, RunCloud has added support for Docker containers. It does not appear that you can bring your own container, but it is a nice enhancement.
