The Builderius website builder team has decided to break the silence in order to share their first milestone in the UI rewrite. The team is excited and shares some of the thinking behind the forthcoming redesign.

For Elementor users – Amit Keren of Unlimited Elements has released a new Layers Widget that makes it easy to overlap images to create image layouts, without the need to use negative margins or absolute positioning. Here is the announcement post.

Gutenberg 17.6 was recently released.  It includes the ability to filter inner blocks, brings the editing features of the content editor and Site Editor into alignment, and has refactoring for the Fonts Library and Interactivity API.  This version of Gutenberg will be included in WordPress 6.5 due in March. 

Crocoblock’s JetForm Builder is a visual form builder for Gutenberg. They just released version 3.3.0, which includes the ability to generate forms with AI, more options for form verification, the option for custom PHP validation rules, and more.

Cwicly 1.4 was just released. The new features include Tailwind integration, a new copy/paste HTML to Cwicly Blocks feature, and an SVG block.

The Divi 5 monthly update was shared. There weren’t any big reveals or walk-throughs, but it seems like they are getting close to a public alpha.

Kraft Builder has another update. This one includes improvements to queries and the query builder, along with editor enhancements.

Today’s WordPress 6.4.3 update contained security patches for two minor issues in core.
