A starter site is a site template with your plugins and theme installed and configured. You can then clone it for a quick start every time you being a new build.

Facebook is owned by Meta. Meta has a newish Twitter clone called Threads. They have announced that Thread’s users will be able to share their posts on the fediverse using the ActivityPub protocol. WordPress has a plugin for sharing via ActivityPub. It is interesting as this may put some pressure on X to be more open.

Google is going to require disclosure for AI-generated content on YouTube. Overall, this seems like a good move. I hope they are able to enforce it.

Sometimes you might want to disable the WooCommerce Checkout and Cart. This was mentioned recently in the group when someone wanted to possibly use Woo just to display a product catalog. Also you might want to disable the cart if you only have one product. Here is a tutorial for those types of use cases.
