The most recent Kadence Live was a good session. If you are new to Kadence Pro theme and blocks then watch the first half as there is an overview of some of the things you can do with Kadence elements. The link here is for the second half where Ben talks about FSE and what’s coming in Kadence Blocks 4. There is some frank talk about FSE and some of why it is in the shape it is. The main event though is about global styles and how CSS is being handled in basically a two level process – advanced CSS options (variables) in the Style Book reflected in easy to use controls in the editor. Some nice stuff in the UI also.

Stellar, the parent company of Kadence, Solid Security, Solid Backups, and other tools, is launching Stellar Sites. Stellar Sites hosting will include access to Kadence as well as the plugins under the Stellar brand. Early access will open later this month.

The Kadence team held their annual Amplify event yesterday. At the end Ben Ritner shared about a new plugin being developed called Kadence Insights. It is used in the Gutenberg editor for A/B testing. Of course it works with Kadence Blocks but is a separate plugin and works with any blocks. Much of the presentation is how to do an A/B test and a look at the UI. It reminds me of If-So.

The Kadence team did a live stream a couple of days ago. They discussed the new Advanced Header / Navigation Blocks and went over some of the features that weren’t demoed in the earlier walk-through. Ben also shared how he saw FSE going forward and he announced several upcoming new features for Kadence. These include options for gradient text, more templates, an Advanced Table block, and a new A/B Testing plugin. Looks like some good stuff coming.

Kadence has just released its new Kadence Advanced Header and Navigation Blocks. It is part of Kadence Blocks Free. You can use it with any block theme as well as with the Kadence classic theme. This is an awesome solution for block themes.
